An alternative to urea formaldehyde binders typically used in particle board. Out-gassing—Term used in the interior construction industry to describe the emission of undesirable gasses or fumes into the environment from interior products such as flooring, paint or even cabinets. GreenlineTM products minimize out-gassing by utilizing isocyanurate bonded wheat board cores. Also referred to as off-gasing. PVA Glue—Water-based adhesive used in the construction of GreenlineTM products. Aside from creating a very strong bond, PVA glues do not out-gas any harmful fumes. PVA is an acronym for polyvinyl acetate. Also known as white glue. Safe-Corner—Developed by GreenlineTM, Safe-Corner is a proprietary method of finishing cabinet ends which transforms the typical square corners into radiused (rounded) corners.
